A group of fifteen students and two teachers from IES Ausiàs March in Gandía participated in an Erasmus mobility program in the German town of Haßfurt from June 2 to 9. This experience was part of the European Erasmus+ program and focused on key themes such as interculturality and coexistence, education and skills, and European identity and cultural heritage.
During their stay, the students were hosted by German families, allowing for full immersion in the local culture. The activity program included workshops on traditional German cuisine, folk dances, language classes, and the creation of digital products related to the Erasmus experience. They also attended classes at the host school, Regiomontanus-Gymnasium, and enjoyed a cultural visit to the city of Bamberg.
One of the most emotional moments was the farewell party held at the school, where students and teachers shared the learnings and experiences of an intense and transformative week.
This exchange has strengthened the ties between both educational communities and contributed to the personal and academic growth of the students, promoting values such as tolerance, respect, and a sense of belonging to a united Europe.
